June 16th: International Omnium sponsored by Team Veloz
Team Veloz is a cycling team based in Chicago that was founded in 2018. Local racer Jafet Torres and his wife Raquel Bagdocimo rallied friends and teammates to create a team dedicated to creating a space for other Latino cyclists in Chicago. Team Veloz values teamwork, good sportsmanship, and representation for all cyclists of color. Team Veloz is sponsored by the Bike Lane which has been a staple in the Chicago community for years. Our members race in all disciplines including track, road, and cyclocross. We plan on hosting open group rides this summer to welcome all so please check our Instagram and stay tuned!
